Asja.biz
has designed and implemented its Quality System on the basis of the requirements
set out in standards ISO 9001, and has obtained the certification for
conformity to these standards by an independent organisation. This system
constitutes for Asja.biz a strong element of visibility and a guarantee
of the efficacy and continuity of company commitment to process monitoring
and continuous improvement.
The
implementationof an Environmental Management System certified pursuant
to standards UNI EN ISO 14001:2004 and based on the principles
expressed in the company mission is an example of sustainable development,
consistent with the environmental policy of Asja.biz, in that it
makes it possible to ensure a careful management of environment-related
aspects and all the activities that may have an impact on the environment.
Among other things, environmental management is implemented through standardised
monitoring activities and by ensuring compliance with the applicable regulations.
Standards ISO 14001 also provide for the definition of a number of "environmental
indicators" which are used to keep constantly under control all impacts
on the environment arising from company activities and to attain superior
quality standards.
Asja.biz
has achieved EMAS registration, the European recognition for companies
that, though they already have in place an "Environmental Management
System" validated by a private organisation (which for Asja.biz is
the DET NORSKE VERITAS), want to subject their System to the legislative
verification by a public body, and intend to commit themselves, by signing
an "Environmental Program", to the pursuit of continuous improvement
in the management of their activities. At the same time, Asja.biz has
drawn up an "

2006 Asja.biz was granted the certification of its Safety Management System
for conformity to standards OHSAS 18001:1999 (Occupational Health
& Safety Assessment Series), having demonstrated to an independent
accreditation body the adoption of management practices geared to the
safeguard of the health and safety of workers and the implementation of
activities for the monitoring and measuring of SMS performances at all
company operational units, going beyond the applicable requirements of
health and safety provisions.
