Asja directly projects, builds, operates plants that generate energy from biogas produced in the anaerobic digestion of biomass from agriculture, animal farming, agro-industries. From the design phase through to plant operation, Asja manages all environment-related aspects with the utmost care. Since 1995, Asja has acquired extensive expertise in using biogas produced form waste anaerobic digestion to generate energy, with over 22 plants designed and built to date. Hence, Asja possesses the knowledge and know-how which are needed to take care of all project design, management, scheduled and emergency maintenance activities a biogas plant involves. Thanks to this wealth of knowledge Asja is able to differentiate itself from turnkey solution providers that simply leave agricultural operators to take care of the plant and all issues that may arise therefrom; on the contrary, Asja contributes directly to the success of the project by establishing SPVs aimed at taking care of all activities concerning the project design, implementation, and operation of a plant, as well as of selling the energy produced. Asjas involvement throughout the plant life-span ensures the quality and reliability of the technology in use there, as well as its commitment to pursuing and achieving optimal plant management. Asja avails itself of the best technology solutions available on the market, thus being able to provide perfectly integrable systems, sized and designed to meet specific requirements even the most unusual biomass mixtures- and overcome the constraints that providers of standard, non-flexible solutions are typically subject to. The operational pattern Asja follows starts with establishing an SPV/SPE to build and manage the plant through special agreements entered into by its own shareholders or (if need be) by third parties, concerning all plant-related activities including biomass supply, project design services, plant operation and maintenance. Shares allocation between Asja and agricultural operators is based on their respective participation in investments made or based on the amount of assets contributed by the shareholders into the capital account. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
