From 1995 to this day, Asja.biz has designed and built 28 plants for the production of energy from biogas in 8 different Italian regions. At present Asja.biz manages 23 plants directly; moreover, 9 new sites are being developed. The overall annual production achieved by Asja.biz in 2008 came to 223.000 MWh, corresponding to the annual energy requirements of over 87.300 households.

The plants managed have a very high operational coefficient, of over 8,000 h/year, thanks to the daily presence of skilled operators, constant supervision by the Project Managers (PMs) and the direct handling of maintenance works. In fact, Asja.biz has teams of specialist technicians that are able to carry out scheduled and extraordinary maintenance works and to address any unexpected problem.

Present abroad in China, Argentina, Brazil and Albania, Asja.biz works within the framework of the Flexible Mechanisms defined in the Kyoto Protocol with projects that envisage the construction of plants for the capture and energy conversion of landfill biogas as a means to contribute to the reduction of GHG emissions.
