The technical activities performed by Asja.biz in the wind energy sector range from the identification of suitable sites for use as wind fields to plant construction. It includes the following steps:

When suitable areas have been identified based on criteria that, among other things, take into account environment-related issues, the rights on the land are acquired and conventions are signed to regulate the relations with the relevant city authorities; Asja.biz makes all the necessary investments and pays the owner of the land a rental determined as a function of the number of aerogenerators installed; to the cities rising in the areas having a good wind energy potential, it proposes the payment of royalties. Hence, the installation of a wind field is a valuable opportunity for the Public Administrations and the owners of the land: it can offer them a dependable income for a time period of at least 30 years. Moreover, especially during the development and construction stages, Asja.biz provides work for local firms and professionals, thereby creating opportunities for new contracts and new jobs.

As at today, Asja has constructed a plant in Romania and one in Italy, at Baglio Nasco (TP) with a power of 10 MW; it is building a plant at Monte Mola in the Commune of Buseto Palizzolo (TP) and buildings works will soon get underway at three more sites in Sicily. The anemometric campaigns and plant design activities are performed by paying the utmost attention to the need to minimise and mitigate environmental impacts. To this end, in-depth environmental impact studies accompany the projects submitted to the authorisation procedure.

An environment-friendly approach and the company's code of conduct rule out the adoption of standard technical solutions. The goal is to identify the configuration that fits best the local environment case-by-case as a function of the orographic and landscape characteristics of the location.
