On June 5th the entire world will celebrate the W.E.D. World Enviroment Day, set by O.N.U. in order to involve citizens and institutions on enviormental issues. Asja makes social awareness on energy saving and on the increase of the use of renewable energies, by participating to the event organized by the Museum A Come Ambiente of Turin. Asja will have a small booth where more than 300 students, of various ages will take part in recreational as well as educational workshops on the use and potentials of renewable energies even in our everyday life.

01.06.2010Asja and Cinemambiente: an historic partnership with reduced emissions
1st June. Today the 13th edition of Festival Internazionale Cinemambiente makes its opening, brought forward in Spring to celebrate the World Environment Day on June 5th. For the 6th year in a row, Asja designated 10.000 Euros to Cinemambeinte, 5.000 of which will be used to award the best competing international documentary; so to support the Festival in the spread of a correct environmental culture.
As per usual, Cinemambiente has avoided 500 tonnes of CO2 thanks to CleanPlanet-CO2; by doing so Cineambiente helps to reduce the emissions produced from the energetic consumption of Cinema Massimo, nonetheless the emissions produced by the transfers of the competing authors and the viewers.
