Asja generates energy form the wind with extremely efficient and reliable windfarms. Thanks to its well-established experience in the renewable energy sector, Asja is able to design, build and manage windfarms of any size. Asja is considered a reliable partner from both the technical and the financial standpoints, hence it is trusted by the main National and International lending institutions; that is why it is the only guarantor and partner of reference for any of its projects.
For its plants, Asja adopts cutting-edge technology. Based on the wealth of technical and organizational skills it has acquired over the years, Asja has established a special division operating right in areas that are strategic for windpower development.
By virtue of a widespread presence in the territory combined with the highly qualified professional profile of its in-house technical experts, Asja can tackle complex projects with a synergic approach, in the framework of a solid but flexible company structure.
In addition to the plants already in operation in Southern Italy (7 windfarms for a total installed capacity of 66,9 MW), Asja currently manages a well advanced project portfolio totaling approximately 109 MW. With each MW installed, Asja is able to supply green energy to about 1500 people each year, thus preventing 950 tons of CO2 from being emitted into the atmosphere.
In 2012, Asja generated an overall 101.400 MWh, corresponding to the yearly energy needs of 39.600 households.
Asja in-house staff has all the skills that are needed to develop a windfarm project through its various stages:
- Site-scouting
- Wind metering (anemometrics)
- Project design and Environmental impact analysis
- Handling of the permit issuance process and of relations with the relevant stakeholders
- Plant construction and management
- Green Certificates trading
