The Asja group is present in Brazil with Asja Brasil Serviços para o Meio Ambiente Ltda, a  company duly incorporated under Brazilian law, of which it is the majority shareholder.

Its mission is setting up plants to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in compliance with the Flexible mechanisms of the Kyoto Protocol thrugh private negotiations or participation in public tenders.

Asja Brasil is mainly engaged in:

  • Building and management activities for projects within the Kyoto Protocol’s framework (CDM)

Asja Brasil’s organizational pattern is based on the setting up of branches or subsidiaries in the states of the Brazilian Federation where its projects are implemented, under the supervision and management of the main office in San Paolo, which in turn works under the coordination of  the head office. Established human resources at Asja Brasil comprise a staff of 18 with 12 being devoted to construction and operation related activities at the Belo Horizonte plant.
