The Asja group is active on the Chinese market through its Chinese branches located in Shenyang, Kunming and Beijing.

Mission: setting up plants to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in compliance with the Flexible mechanisms of the Kyoto Protocol.

Asja Renewables’ core activities are:

building and managing plant projects in the framework of the Kyoto Protocol’s flexible mechanisms (CDM);
project design, procurement and technical supervision;
Asja Group market development activities targeting the Chinese market;
providing expert support to CDM procedure and permit related activities in the Host Country.

Asja Renewables’ organization relies on some Italian staff, working as on-site coordinators and liaison between Chinese branches and the head office, and about 30 Chinese employees.

Projects implemented:

In the framework of the Sino Italian Cooperation Program promoted by the Italian and Chinese Environmental Ministries, Asja has followed the designing and building of the following plants:

Handan City, Liaoning Province in the People’s Republic of China - Extraction and flaring of landfill gas with electricity production and displacement to the national grid
Anyang city, Henan Province in the People’s Republic of China - Extraction and flaring of landfill gas with electricity production and displacement to the national grid
Luohe city, Henan Province in the People’s Republic of China - Industrial wastewater biodigestion with power & steam generation (plant for the anaerobic digestion of organic swine residuals for steam and power generation at the Sheneway Group-the leading charcuterie producer in China - production facilities.
